Cancellation

At Barefoot Coaching & Counselling, your appointment time is reserved especially for you. When an appointment is missed or cancelled late, it prevents other clients from accessing support during that time. It is also about respecting the therapeutic process and the commitment you have made to your own wellbeing and personal growth.
1. Standard Cancellation Notice
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling appointments, with 48 hours notice preferred where possible.
2. Late Cancellations & Non-Attendance

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% cancellation fee

Non-attendance (no-shows) will be charged the full session fee
3. Medicare Rebates
If your session is eligible for a Medicare rebate, please note:

Cancellation fees are not claimable through Medicare

You will be responsible for the full cancellation fee out-of-pocket

Clients are responsible for payment of the full session fee at the time of their appointment. Once payment has been received, Jo will process your Medicare rebate on your behalf
4. Emergency Considerations
We understand that emergencies and unexpected events can happen. Exceptions may be considered at the discretion of Barefoot Coaching & Counselling.
