Do I need to be struggling to seek support?

Not at all. Many people seek support simply because they want greater clarity, confidence, balance, or direction in their lives. Coaching and counselling can be valuable for personal growth as well as during difficult times.

How do I know if Barefoot Coaching & Counselling is right for me?

Finding the right support is important. Jo welcomes an initial conversation so you can ask questions, learn more about her approach, and decide whether working together feels like the right fit for you.

Do I need a referral?

You do not need a referral or a Mental Health Care Plan to book an appointment with Jo.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies for each person. It depends on what you would like support with, your goals, and the time and commitment you are able to give between sessions.

What if I feel nervous?

Feeling nervous is completely normal. Often, the hardest part is making the appointment and attending the first session. Most people find they begin to feel more comfortable once we start talking and get to know each other.

What can I expect in a session with Jo?

Sessions with Jo are warm, supportive, and non-judgemental. You will have a safe space to talk openly, gain clarity, explore challenges, and work toward meaningful personal growth at your own pace.

Yes. Your privacy and trust are deeply respected. All sessions are confidential within professional and ethical guidelines.

How can I book an appointment?

Am I eligible for a Medicare rebate?

If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your General Practitioner, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per session for up to 10 sessions.

Are online sessions available?

Yes. Sessions are available via Zoom or phone, depending on what best suits your needs.
